Kakuzi Limited is a Kenyan agricultural cultivation and manufacture company. Its produces tea, avocados (of which it has been Kenya’s largest exporter), pineapples, and livestock. The company also carries out forestry operations. The company was founded in 1906. It has developed a well-balanced and market focused product mix. This includes the cultivation, manufacture and marketing of tea, growing, packing and marketing of avocados, development of macadamia nut orchards, livestock farming, a joint pineapple growing operation with Del Monte and forestry development.
It operates in two separate locations in Kenya, the main operation and headquarters is situated at Makuyu and the other operation, mainly Tea, is based in Nandi Hills about 350 Km North West of Nairobi.
